Description
This abstract work dances between clarity and ambiguity, where the viewer might find themselves pondering the familiar yet elusive form. The piece echoes the enlightened parts of my collarbones, capturing the essence of my identity through a blend of black, white, and grey.
Creating this with acrylic proved a delightful challenge. The subtle blending of tones became a metaphor for the inner conflict I often feel: one side of me craves the perfection that can come from oil paint, while the other embraces the beauty found in imperfection. Some areas are not as smooth as my inner perfectionist would desire, yet I chose to leave these flaws visible. They remind me that there is grace in the rawness of our experiences and that sometimes, it’s the imperfections that tell the most profound stories.
